Novel Advanced treatments and necessary attitudes for improved outcomes in cancer patients

The incidence of cancer is steadily rising. By 2020, it is estimated that we will overtake the figure 300000 new cancer patients per year in UK.

Dr. Sunil Skaria, Consultant Oncologist, Healthcare leader, Cancer researcher and Author will discuss the rising burden of cancer, major breakthroughs in cancer treatments including immunotherapy, targeted therapy and advanced radiotherapy techniques.

In addition to this he will briefly discuss the mental and psychological aspects of cancer recovery and the necessary attitudes required from patients, relatives and health care professionals to maximise chances of recovery.

The discussion is specifically intended for the primary healthcare physicians and anyone passionate about Cancer Recovery.
